Classes
Celebrating our 50th season! We have been proudly serving Western Pennsylvania and our community for 50 years as our areas leading performing arts studio that offers both baton twirling classes and a wide variety of dance styles.
Classes are available to children ages 4-18 for new beginner students who have no prior experience up to advanced elite students.
At NSC, our curriculum is based on child development, each child's individuality and needs, while growing their performing arts skills and education.
All students are assessed and placed properly by their age, experience, and technical abilities. All classes are scheduled with our youngest students in mind, beginning in the early evening and concluding the night with our eldest students.
Both recreational and competitive classes are available paving the way for our students success as not only twirlers and dancers, but young people in our communities.
Baton Twirling
Wednesdays & Thursdays
Beginner Level baton twirling group classes take place on Thursday Evenings.
Advanced Level competitive team rehearsals as well as private baton twirling lessons are on Wednesday evenings.
We teach a wide variety of twirling skills including but not limited to: 1 Baton Twirling, Multiple Baton (2,3,4 Baton), Group Exchanges, Footwork, Coordination, Spins, Marching, Pageant Modeling, Flexibility, Majorette/Feature Twirler Preparation, Pageant Preparation & more.

Dance
Mondays & Tuesdays
Beginner Level dance classes are offered on Tuesday Evenings and include the following core classes: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop.
Intermediate to Advanced dance classes are offered are on Monday Evenings and include the following core classes: Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, and Hip Hop.

Private Lessons
Private Lessons are a 30 min. session and $35.00 per lesson.
Twirl Legacy Senior Team members are required to take a solo lesson once every week for competition. *See team bylaws for more information.
Yearly solo/private lessons are on a "first come first serve" basis and are held every other week. Students in their 3rd year of solo/private lessons are eligible to perform their solo in the spring recital.
Private lessons with any NSC Instructor are available by appointment only and are scheduled by the Director.
24 Hour notice must be given to the Director, or your session is fully charged.
