Our Staff & Legacy

Mrs. Natalie Watt (Owner, Director, & Principal Teacher)
Mrs. Watt has over 30 years of experience in Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary/Lyrical, Hip Hop, and competitive Baton Twirling which began as a young student under the guidance of founder of Gwen's School of Champions, Mrs. Gwen Pysh. She attended Deer Lakes High School where she was Feature Twirler throughout her Middle and High School years and was active in her school’s choir, band, and theater arts departments. An active child, she studied every genre of dance and baton twirling earning two National Dance Twirl Championships as a member and captain of our studios Senior Dance Twirl Team, and winning numerous regional, national, and local titles as an individual throughout her twirling career. In college she gained exposure meeting and training with some of the nation’s top dance companies and choreographers all the while teaching at local studios around the Pittsburgh area. In 2011 Mrs. Watt graduated from Point Park University, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Dance with a concentration in Jazz from PPU's Conservatory of Performing Arts. Currently, Mrs. Watt is an active member of the National Baton Twirling Association and is a certified/licensed judge with the National Baton Twirling Judges Bureau. She has served as a judge for many local, regional, and national baton twirling and dance contests, pageants, as well as the Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Contest. Under her direction, her students have excelled receiving several individual and group accolades both on the competition floor, stage, and communities, including PA State, USA National Championship Titles, continuing onto the college level. She is the coach of the Knoch High School Majorettes and Feature Twirlers, and was the choreographer for Knoch's musicals which received Henry Mancini Nominations for choreography in their musical productions of Anything Goes (‘15), Chicago (‘16), and 42nd Street (‘17). She, her husband, and daughter reside in Saxonburg, PA. Ms. Natalie currently teaches all baton classes, Solo/Private Lessons, Tuesday dance classes, and is the head coach/instructor of our Twirl Legacy Competition Team.
Miss. Stacy Arner (Baton Teacher & Assistant Coach)...began her dance and baton twirling career as a student at GSC at the age of six, and trained in Tap, Pointe/Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Hip Hop and competitive Baton Twirling. As a student, Miss Stacy was an active member and served as a captain of the Senior Hip Hop Dance Team and the 2-time National Dance Twirl Champion Senior Dance Twirl Team. She has been recognized with several local, regional, and national titles as an individual throughout her twirling career. Miss Stacy also performed as the Feature Twirler throughout her high school career at Mars Area High School. Miss Stacy continued her baton twirling career while attending the Pennsylvania State University, where she twirled with the Penn State Twirling Club and Penn State Elegance competitive twirling team. Miss Stacy was elected President of the Penn State Twirling Club for three consecutive years during her college career and with her leadership Penn State Elegance continued to hold the championship title at the TIA Atlantic Coast Championships. Her other activities included judging middle and high school twirling team tryouts, organizing and leading twirling clinics for all levels, and choreographing competitive routines for Penn State Elegance. Miss Stacy graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Environmental Systems Engineering in May 2017. After graduation, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin her career as an air quality consultant with ALL4. She has recently relocated to the Pittsburgh area and is excited to share her experience with the next generation twirling students! Miss Stacy has experience competing as a baton twirler in the National Baton Twirling Association, Tournament Indoor Association, and Twirling Unlimited. She is also a Certified Level I Coach and Level I Judge with the United States Twirling Association. Miss Stacy teaches solo baton lessons on Wednesday evenings & is Assistant Coach of the Twirl Legacy Team.

Miss. Tiffany Seitz (Dance Teacher)...is the reigning 2019/2020 Miss Pennsylvania and graduate of Grove City College. She has trained in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern, and lyrical for over 20 years. In 2017 she graduated from GCC with a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Communication Studies and was Miss Butler County in 2018. While in college, Miss. Tiffany was actively involved in dance and musical theatre and danced in over 50 dance numbers at GCC. She choreographed for Orchesis Dance Troupe for three years while holding the position of Senior Head Choreographer of the Spring Dance Company and served as both organization's costume manager and coordinator. Miss. Tiffany served as dance captain for Oklahoma! the musical and Anything Goes the musical, being selected as a featuerd dancer in each production. During the Spring Semester, she choreographed The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley for the GCC Children's Theatre. Along with dancing, Miss. Tiffany also enjoyed serving on the Student-Faculty Review Committee, Family Weekend, Crimson and White Society, CW Society's Membership Committee President, and was an active member of the Tau Alpha Pi Theatre Honorary. Post graduation, Miss. Tiffany was selected as a dancer for the Harlem Globetrotters Halftime Show in Pittsburgh in association with Millennium Dance Complex Pittsburgh. Aside from dance, Miss. Tiffany is also a trained gymnast and served as the lead tumbling coach at the Grove City YMCA. Miss. Tiffany teaches dance on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Mrs. Gwen Pysh...in 1974 Mrs. Pysh founded Gwen's School of Champions which began as teaching local children around the community how to twirl in her parents back yard and garage. For 40 years she grew the studio into the great success it is today. In the span of those 40 years, her students have won numerous State, Regional, Solo and Dance Twirl Championships including USA National Championships and the Beth Wilson National Choreography Award. In 2014, following her 40th Anniversary Spring Recital, Miss Gwen & her husband retired to Florida where she teaches twirling lessons and judges at local/state contests. Now full time grandparents, they are loving the special time they get to travel and spending much time visiting their children and grandchildren.
